Getting Ready for Fall - I'm Working on Baltimore Autumn....

Fall is coming soon, and I have always loved the Baltimore Autumn quilt.  I have just started working on this project, and I already have three blocks done!  What is my secret?  I am doing the laser cut applique!  All of the applique pieces are precision cut and have the fusible already attached.  So you can complete these blocks in no time!

Baltimore Autumn captures the rich colors and bounty associated with the fall season.  The colors, detail and intricacy found in each block are truly amazing, and the blocks are really beautiful!  This project consists of a larger center block surrounded by twelve album style blocks.  Add the autumn leaves and acorn applique border, and you have a beautiful project!.  And if you would prefer, you can select your favorite blocks and make them into adorable pillow covers or a small wall hanging!  Click here to find out more about this project.

One of the tricks I have found is to use a bit of glue stick to help attach the pieces before pressing.  That seems to help get the layers positioned correctly, and I can easily peel them up if I don't have it quite right the first time around.  Here are the blocks I've done so far; I am hoping to get more done this weekend!
