Red Fox Fabric Kits Are Here!

The fabric kits for the Red Fox pattern designed by Toni Whitney are here, and they are so beautiful!  Toni is an artist and her designs are simply amazing.  Her sense of color is incredible and the kits she puts together for her projects are so beautiful.   She does also include a "color strip" in the patterns if you would like to use your stash for the project.  Here is the Red Fox pattern:

And while we are on the subject of foxes, I have a fun story to tell you.  Last week, Evelyn came into the shop and told us she had a most unusual animal experience.  Now, for those of you who know Evelyn, she and her family are very involved in 4H, so steers, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, pigs, lambs (and more) are all ho hum day-to-day sightings for Evelyn - nothing new there!  So for Evelyn to have an unusual animal experience, we were all wondering what could it be?   

Possibly a mountain lion, although that would have been on the news.  Maybe a deer or two - they are very common in some of the neighborhoods here.  Well, she pulls out her cell phone and shows us this picture:

And it's a fox!  Sitting on her patio chairs!  This is indeed very unusual - I've not talked to anyone in the area who has ever seen a fox here!  Evelyn was thinking that it may be due to the drought - we are having severe water problems in California, and that is having an impact on all of the wild life.  So that's the best we could come up with!  So now, Evelyn has her very own fox named "Foxy", and they are waiting for her next appearance! 

Of course we all told Evelyn that now she has to make the Red Fox Wall Hanging.......
