Strip Club Working on Simply Woven Today - What Will the Next Quilt Be?

Strip Club is a fun group that meets the second Saturday of every month.  We do a new quilt every other month.  It seems to be a good pace so that our members can finish their quilts in a timely manner!  (But of course, we also have Stashbusters for those who have a few projects backed up :-).  The last two months we have been working on Simply Woven, a project by Jessica Kelly of SewCraftyJess for Moda's Bakeshop.  If you haven't been on the Moda Bakeshop website, you need to check it out - they have lots of fun things! 

We did something fun this time in that we pulled out our Always Quilting Strip Bins - with LOTS of different strips - and the club members could purchase one or more strips for their project.  Everyone had a great time searching for just the perfect strip, and some made their whole quilt out of strips from the bin! 

Evelyn is going to introduce a new quilt this month, so you will have to stay tuned to find out what she's going to do!  She has selected some of these beautiful new strips from Hoffman featuring their 1895 collection.  I have a hint - we are lovin' these Moda Bake Shop patterns, so you might see another one of those.....
