Start your engines and head for your favorite quilt shop to start your journey!
Pick up your special Shop Hop By The Bay passport at your first stop and get it stamped at all 13 participating shops between June 17th and June 21st and you'll be eligible to win one of 23 fabulous prizes, including a one-week stay at Empty Spools' Quilters' Retreat at Asilomar. Don't forget to include the San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles to qualify for a special prize!
And at each shop, you will get a free pattern to make your very own Flag Table Runner! You will also get a strip of red, blue, or white at each shop you go to. If you go to all of the shops, you will get enough fabric to make the entire table runner!
For the shop hop, you will get "true" red, white, and blue strips. For our sample, to show you something a bit different, we used civil war reproduction prints. Either way, this flag is fun and easy to make and you can have it ready for your table by 4th of July!
